vac-u-form table ideas
Apparently, the best instructions are in the The Prop Builder’s Molding & Casting Handbook. Do we have access to this at Centerstage?
The designs I found involve an overhead heating element, and a frame that lowers to the vacuum table. I wonder if it would be better and/or possible to make a hinged frame, so that the heat would not have to be upside down. The second link, which is the stove example, describes a similar idea.
A table with heat overhead, and a frame that lowers.
A very make-shift way of doing it- using a stove as the heating element- Explains the very basics of what we need to make it work.
